I wear your shirt?

I wear your shirt
Here’s a unique way to advertise, I Wear Your Shirt.

There’s no doubt that the world of social media throws up interesting ways to promote brands and this has to be one of the strangest. Since January 1st Jason Sadler has been selling chest space – his own chest. Bizarre? Yes but totally true.

Jason has been charging companies to wear their shirt and then posting the images of himself on sites like YouTube and Twitter. Although his fees are relatively low he’s still managed to make over $70,000 and generate plenty of attention. And like any other business on the up, he’s expanding. Jason has now recruited a shirt-wearing partner with the aim of doubling his profits. And so far so good, he’s sold over 100 days for 2010 already. The opportunities to promote your brand within the social media world just keep growing – what’s going to happen next? Who knows!

Yahoo! 'New / Open' Social Approach

It’s also launching a UK Version of its social bookmarking application Yahoo Buzz and a redesigned Yahoo! Mail. It hasbeen described as a “major milestone in the Yahoo! open strategy which seeks to marry the Yahoo! experience – the best in mail, news, search and mobile – with the best online content and services”, but how will it compare to Google’s new offering? Is it just another one of Yahoo’s reorganizations that are to fail?Have a look for yourself – http://m.uk.yahoo.com
